In this fun & information-packed one-day course, you will learn how to master the art of the French Macaron. The macaron should be a staple in every baker’s repertoire, but they can often be daunting and difficult to produce consistent results.
Marianne will take you through all the essential steps to create successful and stunning macaron shells, avoiding the common pitfalls of these tricky delicacies. She will share her extensive experience of making macarons to remove the guess-work of making them at home.
In the class we will cover:
You will go home with your own batches of Chocolate & Salted Caramel and Rhubarb & Rose macarons, a reusable template for piping the shells and all the recipes used in the class.
In her career as a pastry chef, Marianne has made thousands of macarons in various kitchens from patisseries to wedding cake companies. She has taught macaron-making in group and private classes to over 1000 professional and home bakers.
All materials and full notes will be provided. Please bring along a notepad and pen should you wish to take additional notes.
Our studio is based in the village of Wedmore, Somerset. We are based 25 minutes from Bristol International Airport; Nearest Train Station; and M5 Motorway. Accommodation is available on site and within the village and help can be provided when making your travel plans.
